Membership Classification

Honorary Members

The following are appointed Honorary Members of the Andrion Club in accordance with the articles of association and the decisions of the Board of Directors of the Andrion Club:

  • Regional Governor of South Aegean
  • Mayor of Andros
  • Any other person honored for their contribution to the Andrion Club and the Island of Andros

Executive Members

The Executive Members of the Andrion Club need to be 18 years old and above, meet certain localization criteria and relationship with the Andrion Club, the island and the society of Andros, and be approved, upon submitting an application by the Board of Directors of the Andrion Club, in accordance with the Articles of Association, the Rules of Procedure and the decisions of its Board of Directors. Executive Members are the only category of members who have the right to actively participate, vote and be elected in the administrative bodies of the Andrion Club.

Observers

The Observers of the Andrion Club are Non-Executive Members, that either do not meet the registration criteria or do not wish to register for an Executive Membership. The Observers have all the rights and obligations of the Executive Members in accordance with the Articles of Association, the Rules of Procedure and decisions of the Board of Directors of the Andrion Club, with the exception of the right to actively participate, vote and be elected in the administrative bodies of the Andrion Club.

Corporate Members

The Corporate Members are legal entities that have a status of Non-Executive Members of the Andrion Club that wish to use the Club for their corporate events and to provide the right of an Observer to up to 10 of their beneficiary executives that have to be declared and be approved by the Board of Directors of the Andrion Club. The Corporate members and their beneficiary executives have all the rights and obligations of the Executive Members in accordance with the Articles of Association, the Rules of Procedure and decisions of the Board of Directors of the Andrion Club, with the exception of the right to actively participate, vote and be elected in the administrative bodies of the Andrion Club.

Non-Profit Organizations & Associations

The Andrion Club gives the opportunity to Non-Profit Organizations and Local Association that wish to use the amenities of the Andrion Club for their activities and meetings. The participating Non-Profit Organizations and Local Association have the right to use the club house of the Andrion Club for their meetings and events according to the Articles of Association,  the Rules of Procedure and decisions of the Board of Directors of the Andrion Club, upon coordination with the administration of the Andrion Club.

Volunteers

The Volunteers of the Andrion Club are members, of whichever of the above categories, that contribute their knowledge, skills and time for the promotion and the success of the vision, the mission and the goals of the Andrion Club.

The Volunteers of the Andrion Club are compensated for their contribution morally and in the form of additional benefits from the administration of the Andrion Club. The Andrion Club gives Community Service Certificates to students for usage towards the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) community service requirements, to young men and women for the enrichment of their resume for usage in university applications and work search, as well as providing credits for educators for their contribution in educational programs.
